It feels really weird posting back on my old blog, I have a new one if you’re interested. (simpsonfever.wordpress.com) it has nothing to do with Club Penguin though. I quit this blog because, if you think about it, Club Penguin is a game for kids. And I’m a teenager now so it really doesn’t appeal to me anymore. So I’ve decided to continue posting on this blog, but it’s going to have absolutely NOTHING to do with Club Penguin.
I started playing Club Penguin a few years ago when my friends introduced me to the game. They were like crazy upsessed with it and soon I started getting CP fever. After a few months of playing, they quit, but I didn’t. I played for a little while longer without them ever finding out, and the I created this blog. Somehow they found out about the blog, and they wouldn’t stop teasing me. Which is stupid be they because what’s wrong with playing a game that THEY introduced me to in the first place? At that time they were all into this game called “Maple Story.” It’s basically some Asian game were you run around and kill monsters to gain levels and stuff like that. The thing with Maple Story was, the higher level you were, the more respect you would get. People in the game would call you a ‘noob’ just because you’re a lower level than them, and that’s not the worst part, there was RACISM in the game too! Now at the time they found out I was still playing Club Penguin, they were about level 9 in Maple Story and I was probably level 6 or something. My level wasn’t as high as there’s because I spent most of time playing Club Penguin. Not only were they making fun of me because I was playing CP, but they were also bashing me because I was such a low level. Well, level 9 in MS isn’t exactly the highest level either. Sooner or later I found myself becoming addicted the Maple Story, but I was also playing Club Penguin an dupdating Agent West at the same time. My highest level Maple Story character was around level 25, and I was a magician. Maple Story became so fun, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. There came a point where I became so addiceted I just had to quit it altogether, and that was around the point when I quit Club Penguin and Agent West too.
So now you kinda know the truth about why I quit CP, it was mainly because of Maple Story and my jerky “friends.” I’m never going to play either game ever again, and I’m putting all my time into the blog that I created right after I quit Agent West a year ago. Simpson Fever. I AM however going to be updating this site, but not with Club Penguin stuff, you’ll jsut have to wait and see.
